The color coated channel letter aluminum strip is manufactured using a two-coat, two-bake continuous roller coating production line. After chromating pretreatment, the substrate is coated with primer and topcoat sequentially, and then cured at high temperature to form a dense polymer coating. The standard polyester (PE) coating has a precisely controlled dry film thickness of 18-25μm on the front and 5-10μm on the back. The coating adhesion meets GB/T 9286 standard grade 0, showing no paint peeling or substrate exposure after a 180° T-bend test. Color retention in normal outdoor environments reaches 3-5 years, and no blistering or rusting is observed after 480 hours of neutral salt spray testing. For applications requiring high weather resistance, a PVDF fluorocarbon coating solution is available, with a fluoropolymer content ≥70%. After 3000 hours of QUV accelerated aging, gloss retention is ≥80%, and outdoor weather resistance can reach over 10 years, suitable for long-term use in harsh climates such as coastal and high-altitude regions.

Color batch consistency is the core value of the color coating process. The entire production process is monitored in real-time using an online spectrophotometer system. The color difference value ΔE for products within the same roll is ≤1.0, and for products within the same batch, ΔE is ≤1.5, far superior to the color fluctuation levels of manual spraying. This fully meets the visual standardization requirements of global chain brand stores, avoiding significant color differences between different batches of signs.
