3005 aluminum coil/roll belongs to 3000 series aluminum alloy, which is one of the most widely used anti rust aluminum alloy. The strength of this alloy is not high(slightly higher than 1000 series). It can’t be heat treated, so cold processing method is usually used to improve its mechanical properties. 3005 aluminum coil has a very high plasticity in the annealing state. In the semi cold work hardening, it has good corrosion resistance, good welding performance but poor machinability. It’s mainly used in the oil tank, gasoline or lubricating oil pipe, all kinds of liquid containers, kitchenware, food and chemical products processing and storage device, transport liquid products, containers, with a variety of pressure vessel and pipe general implements, heat sink, copy machine drums etc.
