Metal spinning is a continuous, point-by-point local plastic deformation process. As the material is subjected to simultaneous circumferential and radial tensile, compressive, and shear stresses, the aluminum circles require exceptional isotropy, low internal stress levels, and high surface density. With over a decade of expertise in aluminum circle production, Haomei Aluminum has developed a specialized product series tailored to the deformation characteristics of the spinning process. We currently supply over 6,000 tons of spinning aluminium circles annually, consistently serving clients in the cookware, lighting reflector, and precision hardware industries.

Haomei have optimized our entire production process specifically to meet the demands of metal spinning. Our production lines feature reversible cross-rolling units that adjust grain orientation through multi-pass cross-rolling, minimizing material anisotropy at the source. Finished products undergo low-temperature, long-duration continuous annealing, achieving an internal residual stress relief rate of ≥95%. Based on mass-production data, our aluminum circles for spinning feature a normal anisotropy coefficient (r-value) of ≥0.75 and a difference in mechanical properties between radial and circumferential directions of ≤5%. After spinning, wall thickness deviation is consistently controlled within ±0.03mm, and roundness error is ≤0.2mm, fully meeting the dimensional tolerance requirements for high-precision spun parts. Having supplied spinning aluminium circles for years, I have observed that many customers encounter issues such as part eccentricity and localized wall thickness deviations—problems often stemming from inadequate control over material rolling directionality. Our cross-rolling process is designed to resolve this common industry pain point at the source.
Different alloy grades cater to specific spinning applications, with all core performance parameters validated through mass production:
1050-O spinning aluminum circles feature an aluminum content of ≥99.5%, elongation after fracture of ≥30%, and an Erichsen cupping test (IE) value of ≥10.8mm; they achieve a limiting spinning ratio of up to 3:1 and a post-forming surface roughness (Ra) of ≤0.8μm, making them ideal for products requiring high surface quality, such as deep-cavity cookware and lighting reflectors.
3003-O spinning aluminum circles offer a tensile strength of 95–130 MPa, excellent resistance to weak acid corrosion, and a limiting spinning ratio of 2.5:1, suiting applications that demand structural strength, such as commercial spun vessels and decorative hardware.
Haomei currently supply spinning aluminium circles in thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 5.0mm and diameters from 100mm to 1000mm, with support for customized processing such as mill finish, double-sided PE film coating, and edge finishing. Before shipment, every batch undergoes Erichsen cupping tests, spot checks for anisotropy, and full inspections for surface defects, accompanied by comprehensive material certification and mechanical property reports. To meet the demands of ocean transport, we utilize standardized packaging—featuring waterproof liners and fumigated solid-wood pallets—keeping the rate of surface oxidation and impact damage upon arrival below 0.1%.
Haomei maintain ready stock of mainstream spinning aluminium circles specifications, enabling standard orders to be shipped within seven days. We support everything from small-batch sample testing (starting at 1 ton) to full-container bulk deliveries. Additionally, we offer tailored recommendations on material temper adjustments based on your specific process parameters—such as spinning speed and feed rate—to help you rapidly optimize your spinning operations.
